Personality:

Distant:This will happen when you’re not close enough with her. She’ll avoid you and even if you talk to her she’ll just going to listen silently and will be gone from your side a minute later, she’s going to reason that she still have class to do or just say it simply that she gotta go, with a fake smile. It’s just that she always having a hard time in trusting people, not because she’s being too cocky to hangout.

Diligent: Since she’s here on scholarship then she should maintain her grades by studies every night (except weekend). She’s also very strict on her dance practice and her schedule. And there’s no a single dust in her room or her stuff, she cleans them regularly.

Good learner: She’s not smart, but her common sense and knowledge are good because she reads occasionally and study hard like a good student should do.

Sharp and sensitive: She’ll notice quickly if something is wrong or out of places. She reads people well just by observing their gesture and the way they speak.

Motivating: If you’re close enough with her, or maybe not but you happened to confide with her, then you’ll realize that behind those cold words that she’s just trying to be honest and motivate you.

Understanding: Life is hard, so she tries not to judge people from their mistakes but from their efforts to fix it. Even if you lied to her or did something wrong, she will forgive you after some time. Actually eventhough her exteriors seems cold she’s really gentle and soft in the inside.

Independent: She is used to take care of herself, so even though her physical condition is a bit fragile, don’t expect her to act like a damsel in distress.

Likes to laugh: If you finally get to know her better and happen to joke with her, you’ll know that it’s very hard for her to stop laughing.~

Sweet and caring: You can only see this if you are moderately close with her. She will take care of you, and you will be surprise at how she pay attention to your smallest detail when you’re probably not. She will also help you in anything you need or even when you don’t need anything. Sometimes she will probably make you something like a small bento or giving you a cell-phone strap or a self-made accessory.

Creative: She likes to make her own clothes, accessories, and cell phone straps (to save and to get money). She even able to create dance moves on her own, and sometimes, her idea is extra ordinary and in some rare occasion.... a bit vulgar and erotic.

Biography:

Preschool: None

Kindergarten: Himawari Kindergarten (went near her house) | The tuition fee paid by her father in the first year, exchanged to her mother in second year.

Elementary School: Yasoinaba Public School (went near her house) | The tuition fee paid by her mother.

Middle School: Yasoinaba High | First year tuition paid by her mother, and for the next years she got the school scholarship for her talent in dancing and good grades.

Sayuri’s father was a singer, he left their family when she was 5. Her mother was one of the most talented traditional dancers in Tokyo, but she abandoned her talent to pursue a better job so she could earn a living for her family. She inherits a tofu shop from Sayuri’s grandfather and make some money from there, it’s not much but it’s enough.

From this background, it’s kind of hard for Sayuri to trust (especially) the opposite gender. Fortunately, her younger brother is a good kid and her mother reminds her from time to time that not all men are like that. So even though it still bothers her at some point, she doesn’t have any difficulties to communicate with the opposite sex.

In Junior high, Sayuri’s mother fell ill and hospitalized for almost a month. Thankfully, her uncle helped their family with the hospital bill. Unfortunately the doctor said that her mother had a heart condition and should not get tired in the any condition. The reason why Sayuri’s mother fell ill was because she was too exhausted from work. From this moment, Sayuri began to pursue the scholarship so she could lighten her mother’s burden even though it’s just a little bit.

Sayuri is following her motherfootsteps on becoming a professional dancer. She started it since she was 7, mentored by her mother. She’s majoring in contemporary (this means that she could almost do any kind of dances) but at best in ballet. She earns her scholarship because of this and her good grades. She plans to make a living from her dancing talent but not leaving her brains behind, since her mother taught her that both knowledge and education are really important. When she dances,Sayuri will look like other person, depends on the music she could look fiercer like fire or gentler like water. Her dancing mentor on junior highwas once told her that she has a gift for delivering message from her body movement.

But her actual passion is singing (in the bathroom). She doesn’t acknowledge this though, because she thought it will hurt her mother and mostly, herself, since she always remembers how cruel her father can be. So she choose dancing because she can enjoy it as much as she loves singing, and if her father somehow manage to look at her later, she wants to proofit to him that she could be a successful dancer, not a singer.

She was doing some part time jobs and preparing for High School during her summer vacation, like she always do. When she arrived at , she realized that most people here areliving a totally different life from her, if they’re not in a scholarship then they must be super rich, that is why she keeps her distant from them because she’s afraid that it will hurt her in the end (her father left the family because money).

But other than that, like a normal girl she would be happy if someone throws her a smile, gives her some flowers, a teddy bear, or sharing the joy together. Deep in her heart, she’s looking for someone who can make her belief that the world is not that cruel and that she could trust other people, the outsiders.

Additional Info:

She’s good at giving first aid since her brother (eventhough is a good kid) always involved in a fight and she’s the one who always took care of his and his friends wounds.

She spends her days off sleeping and resting, since she’ll need all the energy she can get for the following week.

She’s a good cooker. She can’t make a luxury dishes, but she makes a good curry, good stew, nice fluffy omelet and something like that. She could possibly improve if she’ll learn.

She hates camping in tent. Sleeping in her sleeping bag will make her backache, it’s usually hard to find toilet, and she’s afraid of the silhouette that the tent used to make.

Most of her clothes are self-made or second-hand.

She likes making cell phone straps from beads and sells them for extra cash.

She collects watch and can’t live without them, since her life depends on time.

Allergic to dust and… chocolate.

She’s a big fan of One Oke Rock and is hoping to meet them someday, to thank, because their songs had saved and helped her through the difficult times.

She’s surprisinggly good at some sport and able to defend herself well (her brother taught her how to fight), but doesn’t join in any sport team because she gets tired easily which will cause her sick.
