Hello! How are you guys? ^^

It’s been so long since I wrote my last journal..

Anyway, I just wanna let you guys know about a few things that I’ve written in the tittle. Firstly, I’ll be less active in DA and skype. Now that I have a pentablet, I wanted to focus on honing my skills so that I’ll be ready for my main project next year. I feel I finally can catch up with my goals, so I’m going to put practice as my first priority. Also, I don’t have any breaks in weekends since my mom just decided that she wanted to open a mini café. It’s been two weeks since the café was opened, so yeah, I need to help her every Saturday and Sunday because we don’t have any waiters and cooks (I’m multitasking a lot, it’s both fun and crazy!). I’m still going to check my DA messages / notes regularly though, you can reach me from there. However, it might take a while to get back to you. As for the RP groups, I’m still open for an RP as long as there’s slot available--albeit I might response slower (except in several occasion / cases) and I’m really sorry for this.. Also, I’m still going to participate in important events.

I think it started since I’m 17..

On my very sweet 17 birthday, shit was starting to happen. And now, every time before / around my birthday, everything suddenly turned to be very complicated or an utter chaos. Like now, for example. Sometimes I wonder if God loves me so much that he always gives me so kind… of tests, on the very important month of my life.

But, I’m not here to confide though yes I kinda complained about my life but I can’t help it so I’m sorry , I just wanna to let you know that I’m in a middle of a crisis here so I’m forced to take a semi / complete hiatus until the end of February, or until March, idk. I need time to clear my mind. I’m depressed. And I need time to think, and build a new plan for my life. I’ll check my DA and forum regularly but I’ll respond it in weekend or only God knows when (when I get a free time), except if it’s really urgent. And I’ll do my job to accept submission in and grant it points but I don’t think I’ll be able to comment much even if I wanted to.. And I’ll probably just fave and run, for now. But know that if I do it then it means that I really like your piece and you did a great job..

I’m very, very, sorry… I know that I’ll probably have to delay some of the RPs or gone for a while. But I really need this or I’ll go crazy.

On the bright side, I’m now a full time illustrator and I think that I’ll be able to pick up everything starting on March, that means I can finally do some commission and do more art. I think I’ll be able to get a tablet this month too, so I can finally refine my skill. Once I reemerge I’ll start my side project like strip comics and ‘the author and her sibling’ series, plus my main project “Rubrum Labyrinth,” it’s from the Novel I published back in 2012. Hope you guys will support me when I come up with them

Based on Vera’s encounters / timeline, and it’ll be long. lol:

He’s probably the first person who is close to Vera in Hogwarts. They know each other since 3^rd year. Vero was always admiring Vera’s hair since the sorting ceremony in their first year. He then always stole some glances to Vera’s direction whenever that girl around, but never directly interacted with her because he felt that it wouldn’t be necessary and because he was shy. He always wondered if Vera is also one of his fans, and this question is answered when they’re accidently bumped into each other at the beginning of their third year.

He bumped on her, made her drop the books she was carry with. Finally he was able to look at her face properly, up close and personal. He then helped Vera gather her things, and the girl seemed indifferent towards him--she was actually cared more about her books than at his presence. She apologized to the books first before shortly did the same to him, and left. After that, Vero was always beyond curious about her, he thought that she’s somehow is immune to his charms. Eventually, he decided to encounter her a week after that incident. He talked to her after class and asked her how come she just left like that, and she said back to him that if it’s apology that he wanted then she already did it. She ran off again, leaving Vero dumb-struck, it was obvious for him that Vera is not one of his fans.

The third meeting and the start of their bizarre relationship began three months after the second incidents. Vero was having a concert at the Black Lake, finally able to test out his aerbulla charm. Vera accidently caught a glance of him from the tower, and she watched in terror at how he suddenly dive his head into the lake. She even more panic because when she got there, his head was still below the surface that she afraid that he’s already dead. Panic, she grabbed his shoulder and pulled him out of the water. “Don’t kill yourself just because I didn’t apologize properly!” she shouted at him, and he shouted back at her with his Kermit voice “You just ruined my first concert!”

Out of fear, Vera started running from him and he chased her, throwing his Exsculpo spell at her, thankfully she’s good with protection charm so none of it hit her. She looked for Hagrid’s protection after that, telling him that Vero’s possessed by something at the lake, but then Hagrid examined Vero and told her that he’s completely normal. It made Vera shock and since then she knows about his secret. Hagrid then grabbed Vero (whose spells doesn’t work on him) while Vera ran off to her dorm. For a whole month Vero tried to jinx her but always failed. Thanks to this, Vera always casted Salvio Hexia and Protego regularly in order to make herself safe.

Eventually, Vero knew that Vera didn’t tell a single soul about what happened at the lake, he asked her why she didn’t spread that info and she simply answered because it wouldn’t be necessary. Since then, Vero stated and devoted himself as her best mate and always spent sometimes with her at least once every two days, at first he was having some difficulties with her sharp tongue because he’s not used to rejection but eventually understands and get uses to it, he always help her even when she doesn’t ask for it, and he adores her hair more. He once said to her that he wants to make her hair as his pillow.

Vera is the only person in Hogwarts that know about his secret, and in front of her, Vero can let his guard down and just be himself. He’s also very protective towards her at most at the time, and sometimes can be very possessive and childish. Vero is secretly glad though, because even if Vera’s exterior seems cold and rather indifferent, she already warms up to him and cares about him too. They like to study together sometimes, and both of them liked to visit Hagrid at the weekend when it’s not Hogsmeade visit.

Vera made him promise that he’ll not involve or drag her in any way to his popularity. With that being said, Vero never approaches her when his friends are around, and when they are caught together, he will take his leave from her and returns to his popular group.

After almost a year spending time with him, Vera has finally admits him to be one of her best friends. It started when she led the expedition to the 3^rd floor corridor, and that expedition had turned to a disaster that both her and Vero almost died in there 4 times.  Right after the expedition she finally respects Vero’s bravery, determination, and his unique abilities. She also thought that it’s time to finally admit him as her best mate, since she actually cares so much about him too.

Though she doesn’t want to admit or show it, she’s actually very protective of Vero too in a way you can’t imagine.

Vera first met Wyatt at the Hogwarts Express at the beginning of the 4^th year. She was mentally broke down in her compartment after she read the news about Shacklebot’s death, and Wyatt made her feel worse after he sounded her thought out loud, that the Dark Lord is back and is probably the cause why the minister just suddenly drop dead.

After that, Wyatt and his friends started to look for a compartment, and their group almost took Vera’s place if only Wyatt didn’t shove them away. Eventually she ended up sitting with Vera. Both of them introduced themselves to one another, and had quite the talk. They had their differences but didn’t argue about that, they even attempted to test one another’s thought in order to bring out each other’s true personality.

Vera found that Wyatt is interesting and she rather fond of him because he was the first person who did not flinch at her harsh words, and he even asked for her company. Both of them are sarcastic and share the same interest (at least in political matter), maybe that’s why Vera can ‘click‘ rather fast with this person. She admires the way he thought and how he can make other people to listen to him, and the back of her head tells her to remain cautious because even though he’s relatively kind, like most Slytherin he is manipulative (even if it’s not a bad trait). He seemed like he quite fond of her too, but she’s not sure if he sincerely felt that way or if it was only his mask.

Due to Vero possessive traits, Vera was separated from Wyatt when they were on the train, and she felt really sorry to have to leave abruptly like that. However, they now greet each other briefly whenever they meet at the school ground, and it seems that their relationship is in good term.

One thing lead to another and Vera eventually finds herself to be closer with Wyatt though not in a way like she do with Vero or Elliot. Wyatt and Vera are close, they work well together (and can be very scary / even lethal), compliment and appreciate each other constantly, and can read each other gesture at most of the time. But they never shares their personal feelings with each other.

It’s very refreshing to see them interacts with each other because Wyatt response is always interesting and Vera can always be herself whenever she’s with him, so basically they exchanges many sarcastic comments with each other without afraid of being offended. And she’s not afraid to tell him that she respects his opinion the most since in a sense he does more mature and more intelligent than her. That doesn’t mean that she doesn’t like him sometimes though, especially when he points out her flaws. But that’s exactly what she needs, a person that can control her when she’s out of line.

In short, you can imagine them somewhat like Bonnie and Clyde but without the romanticism //slapped

Alice is the only person in whole Hogwarts who never receives the harsh treatment from Vera’s words. They met when Vera returned to Ravenclaw’s tower at 1 p.m, the older girl was just finished her observation to the mysterious howl from forbidden forest, she made her way in and can’t shut up about it due to her previous excitement.

Innocence Alice was sleeping among her homework on the couch when she heard Vera talked to Salju about almost anything that Alice’s not supposed to hear. Curious, Alice sneaked behind her and listened to her closely before finally got caught. At first, Vera was cold towards her and she even asked her to forget about what she just heard, but then Alice’s attitude was melting Vera’s heart and eventually the girl opens up to her.

Vera was shock when she knew that Alice almost sneak out to Forbidden Forest only by herself. She was really mad—mostly because she’s worried, and asked Alice to promise her to not attempt to do that anymore, at least not alone or not without her. Alice promised her, and in return Vera will tell her everything about what she wants to know in one condition; Alice must not tell someone else.

Besides her massive curiosity, Alice is also a very sweet, adorable, and innocent little girl. Vera finds it hard to be mad at her whenever the brunette looks at her with the glassy eyes of hers. The blonde never had a sibling, so she considers Alice as one and actually happy about it. She secretly likes it very much whenever Alice throws herself to hug her and call her sis. Vera always brought sweets for Alice every time she went home from Hogsmeade, and she likes to help the younger girl in doing her homework—she often asks salju to keep an eye on Alice, and sometimes she likes to bring the little girl in her exploration.

Alice once gave her the drawings that she made herself. It was one of Vera’s most favorite gifts and she’ll treasure it always. The painting is now framed and hangs above Vera’s bed in the castle.

Their relationship is difficult to describe, mostly because both of them are not the best person to get along with. They always fight or exchange harsh comments whenever they meet with each other. Their first meeting was actually rather disastrous. Elliot likes to cut some things and that includes paper, so one day, when he was in bad mood, he was looking for some place to be alone and to release his anger. He was in the middle of ruining his classmate notebook when suddenly Vera approached him, already mad and disliked him very much.

She asked him to stop it but he ignored her. Eventually they were fighting before finally Vera jinxed him, took the boy away with her, and ran off after she apologized to him for being very impossible to talk with. After that, Elliot swore that he’ll take a revenge on her, and a week later, he encountered her and they fight again. Thankfully, the second encounter was not as bad as the first one, there’s no spell involved in it. To the contrary, they found new things about each other and eventually softened up. Even Elliot seemed to attract to how Vera was able to read and see through him, and he wanted to get to know her. But always being afraid to know somebody new--especially somebody who is very creepy and slightly psychotic as him, Vera ran off.

Before a visit to Hogsmeade, Elliot found her again and attempted to get another conversation. But due to his mean streak, he was accidently offended Vera (laughed and told her that there’s no way that she has a boyfriend) so that the girl ran away from him again. From that moment he decided not to look for her for some time because he was starting to get upset too with her sulky behavior, even though it’s not entirely her fault because it’s so hard not to be mad and offended every time you are near Elliot.

Their next encounter was at Hogsmeade, Elliot snuck up to Shrieking Shack with Yukimura (even though after that the rat faint himself out of fear) only to found Vera who was crying upstairs. She was found at the room where most historical events in the past 22 years happened, there was a flower bouquet on the floor where she kneeled, and before she caught Elliot, he heard her muttering some respects and thankful words to the departed heroes. It was awkward, and something odd stirred inside Elliot when he saw her tears. But then they finally introduced themselves to each other and eventually stroll around Hogsmeade together; got a drink at the three broomsticks, nearly caught by Vero, bought some candy for Alice from Honeydukes, and even holding hands for several times (even though it’s not because they wanted too and they’re both very ashamed about it).

But then on the way home, Elliot said that it’s no big deal to go out with Vera, making that girl angry and hurt because she thought she can trust him and she has this weird sensation that somehow they can be friends. After that Vera said to him they might as well just pretend that they don’t know each other. Also angry because she said that, Elliot took his leave and ignored her.

Vera always has these strange feelings whenever she’s with Elliot, especially every time she looks into his eyes. She sense darkness and loneliness in there and can’t help but wanted to ease it from him, he reminds her lot of about Dillon. After the encounters, she started to understand Elliot personality bit by bit and even encouraged herself to joke with him. He was actually the only person, who has seen Vera’s sweet personality so far, and she’s able to have a good time with him when they were at Hogsmeade (despite his bad attitude), she even laughed with him and teased him a lot.

Without her knowing, Elliot was actually having fun with her too and he secretly happy when she asked him to go around with her. He also feels the same sensation that she’s able to read him very well and he wonders at how far she can look.

Like I said, complicated.

After months of fights, tears, and cooperation, Elliot has finally warms up to Vera and care about her. He constantly show her his gentle side though he’ll eventually turns to be mean again after that, however it’s gradually less meaner. Despite his exterior and mean attitude, he’s actually very loyal to her and defends her when it’s needed, and if there’s someone he can listen then that someone is Vera (except of course he wouldn’t show it). He’s also the part of Nightingale since he took part in the 3^rd floor corridor expedition. They saw each other’s horror in their past and ever since then, Vera begins to understand more about Elliot, and in exchange he turns out to be very protective of her.

Vera found out that Elliot has the best ability when it comes to protecting charms (and severing charms) because he doesn’t seem like one who likes to save and protect people, but then she understands that Elliot is actually very protective of people that he cares about until an extreme level. That’s how she learns the connection between the magic abilities and the personality of the wizards. Just like in Vero’s case, despite that Elliot still constantly being mean at her and insults her, she finds herself care too much about him and will do anything to keep the boy safe.

Hikari is Alice’s best friend and that’s how Vera recognizes her at first. They finally get a proper (??) chance to meet at the night right after the 3^rd floor corridor expedition was over. Vera found the poor Hikari who was crying in the corner of already dark Ravenclaw’s common room, buried in the middle of her homework. Vera is not an expert in handling someone feelings, so she was confused because somehow she wanted to comfort Hikari but didn’t know what to do. But then she noticed the homework and offered Hikari to help her finish them, though it turned out that Vera can’t help her with it either since it was beyond her expertise. She knew someone who can though.

So she sneaked out again with Hikari around midnight, and they manage to reach Hagrid’s hut with the help of Helena Ravenclaw’s ghost who showed some sympathy to Hikari (that’s the very reason why she helped them). They spent the night talking about their hometown and their childhood, and with Hagrid after that, talking about the description of evil which was Hikari’s homework was about, and slept on Hagrid’s giant couch.

They returned to the castle early on the next morning, and Hikari thanked Vera by hugging her, making the girl happy and touched by her gesture, thinking that she might make some improvements at dealing with people.

The smaller girl also referred as Nee-chan because she didn’t know Vera’s name when they first meet. So Vera looked up for reference after that and smiling and giggling all day after she knows what that means. And eventually after that, she refers Hikari as her imouto.

Vera was aware of Alastair though she didn’t know his name. She knew him from his rep as the Ravenclaw Sweetheart and because she thought that his over-optimism in some school event is annoying somehow.

Their first encounter was far from ideal. It happened when Vera visit Hagrid’s hut. The giant was nowhere to be found and turned out to be sick and headed out to find medicine. So while waiting for him to arrive, Vera cleaned the hut and cooked some soup and cookies for Hagrid. And then, Alastair came with a small dragon on his shoulder (thanks for his draconifors spell).

He bombarded her with a series of question and even invaded her personal space, thanked to him, Vera produced a lot of pink flowers on her hair. This made Vera freaked out since she’d never been so close with a boy before, especially a stranger. So she apologized to him before she finally stupefied and locked him in the broom closet.

The result was far beyond her expectation. Alastair blew the closet with reducto, looking hurt (the reason is still unknown to Vera and somehow she doesn’t want to know about it, afraid of the answer) and all before he finally headed to the forbidden forest. Vera was beyond panic but managed to chase him anyway… with her barefoot. And she was succeeded in tackling him to the ground and stopping him though they eventually rolled in to the forest.

They had quite a deep conversation in the woods before they finally headed back to the hut. After that they cleaned the place and Vera healed their injuries before finally they bid farewell to each other.

The whole interaction from the beginning until the ending was something you can describe as intimate, that’s why Vera keeping it a secret from anyone she know, especially the Nightingale.

Since then, it seems that Alastair turns to fear Vera especially when she hold her wand, and Vera turns stiff and more annoyed than usual when she see him that everybody mistakes her to hate him when she actually doesn’t, she just… dislike him.

However, she cares about Alastair’s safety and his well-being as much as she cares about Wyatt and Alice.

Vera grew up with Dillon (who taught her to climb and to defend herself), her best friends are Vero and Elliot, and her personal adviser is Wyatt. These are making her (though doesn’t look like it) a bit tomboy and insensitive to the things around her, especially in the terms of feelings. That’s why most girls at her childhood went home crying after they talked to her.

Eventually she comes to a realization that she needs a friend around her age who is a girl, who is sensitive, a good listener, and patient enough to help her to understand things. So she was very lucky when Candace found her, and Candace was lucky because she’s in the quidditch team so she basically has something in common to talk with Vera (since the blonde loves quidditch).

They met before Candace’s practice and soon become friendly with each other. At first, Vera was shock that Candace can notice her and even asked several question to the Gryffindor girl, but Candace didn’t seem to annoy by her sudden outburst and even shot back at her bluntly. None of them offended by what each other had to say, and before they know it they were smiling and laughing with each other.

Vera even waited until Candace finished her quidditch practice, and Candace offered a broom ride for the next day.

Vera feel both odd and glad that she finally found someone who is a girl and around her age but does not flinch to her sarcastic and blunt comments. She also finds Candace bluntness is adorable. And she likes to tells herself quietly about ‘so this is how it feels to have a girl friend’ while being happy about it.

The future for the friendship between these two looks promising. And it seems that if they really become closer Vera will eventually have someone to spend her most of the time with.

Hogwarts will suddenly become more interesting for her since she has found Candace.

Hagrid (game Keeper), Close and Sweetest Friend

Vera knows Hagrid since she enrolled in Hogwarts. It was natural because he is the game keeper and tasked to get the first years in crossing the lake every year. Plus, ever since she knew about Harry Potter, she’s aware that this Harid is his Hagrid. Although she wanted to launch a thousand questions at him ever since, she managed to held them well.

Until one time in winter, she saw Hagrid dragging something into his hut. Without a second thought she made her way to his hut, but since the slope was slippery she fell down and rolled down the hills. Hagrid caught her when she practically rolled to his garden, basically turned into a huge snowball. She cried so loud after that, considering that she earned some scratches and wound, and mostly because she felt incredibly shy after the whole incident and getting caught after. Hagrid offered to carry her to hospital but she shook her head and cried louder. Panic, the giant started blabber about some cookies and tea inside his hut and carried her in.

Eventually she calmed down after a cup of Earl Grey and a jar of vanilla sweets, and they talked about everything she wanted to ask before she couldn’t even stop herself. Hagrid on the other hand, was happy to have her. He thought that her curiosity and the ways she acted to it are adorable. And ever since then, their friendship started.

Hagrid is old now, so Vera always makes sure to visit him regularly in weekend, just to check on him and keep him company. The half-giant also taught and told her many things (most of them was accident) and always helping her constantly when she’s in trouble. They also regularly found themselves in unexpected turns out events.

Vera cares a lot about this Hagrid until the point that she loves him like her own family.

Professor Frey Cael (Astronomy Teacher), Guardian Angel.

Vera is in a good terms with most of the teacher. But she shares a close bond with Prof. Cael who also coincidently is the head of the Ravenclaw’s house. The professor is kind and very attentive to his students. His first meeting with Vera happened when he literally caught her in the act during her first year. Vera was terrified that he’ll give her some detention or worse. But he just smiled at her, escorted her until Ravenclaw common room, and asked her to go to sleep and not to wander around again.

He caught Vera again regularly after that, but he never once punished her or something. Ever since then Vera developed some kind of affection and respect towards him. She likes to talk to him regularly about her academic performance and help him to clean his office or his class at least twice a month, as a thank you for not giving her a bad time, and because she wanted to.

Prof. Cael told her over and over not to break the rules and even that she’d say yes, he knows that she’ll do it again anyway. However he still never forbids her strictly or scolds her. It turns out that he trusted Vera, that’s why he let her wander around, and because he doesn’t have the heart to give his student detention.

Despite being dreamy and drowsy sometimes, he has the same kindness and charisma like Vera’s father, and these are what make her adore him more.

Professor Athena Roark (Charms Teacher), Favorite Teacher

Vera likes professor Roark since she first met her in her first year, despite that she’s being feared by the other students. The girl think that Prof. Roark is very amazing and brilliant, and she also has the right attitude which motivates (or scaring) her students to keep studying though her ways are too firm or hard sometimes.

If there’s a professor in Hogwarts that Vera wants to impress with, Prof. Roark is the one. If something is happening and she’s in trouble, Prof. Roark will be the last person on earth that Vera wanted to share that fact with. Not because she’s afraid of her (she really respect her) but because she’s ashamed to shows some flaws in front of the professor.

Professor Teresa La Reina Rivera (Headmaster), Trouble Alert

Vera fears headmaster Rivera. Despite that she shares some similarities in attitude with Prof Roark, Vera still fears her. Why? The professor caught her on her second year. She didn’t say anything except “Go back to your room, now.”

She didn’t punish or give her any detention. But that was beyond scary and ever since then, whenever the headmaster is around, Vera has this feelings that she always eyeing her constantly, telling her not to go looking for trouble.

Vera feels that Prof. Rivera can see through her and her plans or even read her mind.

Healer Aiden Baltasar, Personal Doctor

Vera has quite a good relationship with Mr. Baltasar. She meet with him regularly especially in her first year, before she learned and mastered some basichealing spells. She got a lot of scratches and minor injuries from some of her expedition, so she needed to go to him and asked to be heal. When he asked where she got all that injuries, Vera lied to him, saying that she tried to practice with her broom for a quidditch try out.

He bought it but it resulted in something fatal. One day during the start of her third year Mr. Baltasar asked her to show him her flying skill since she keep getting hurt but still hasn’t enter the team, he thought that he might just provide her with some help after that, probably one of his acquaintance who knows how to fly well. He did it because he cares.

The blonde has no choice but to improvise and the result was so bad until Mr. Baltasar asked her not to touch any broom again. Vera faked an agreement because her broom did crush somehow (she talked to Candace about this), and because she already learned some healing spell so she wouldn’t need his help every so often. The important thing is that he believes her.

Since then Vera visits him regularly just to talk with him, and he helped her to heal some students who were the victim of her jinxes (they usually dropped to the floor and hurt a bit after she body binds them or etc). He was also the one who witnessed the starting point of Vera and Elliot friendship. He was even the person who encouraged Elliot to admit his feelings to Vera.

Helena Ravenclaw (The Grey Lady), Secret Helper

Helena, as we know, is a very shy ghost. Then how in the world she manages to be an acquaintance with Vera? It’s simple. She watches the girl sneaking and exploring the castle at night constantly. She remained herself hidden though she actually feels curious about why Vera was so eager to uncover the castle’s secret.

During her second, Vera spent most of her time to look the room of requirement after she heard about it. It took her a long time to find it until she eventually gets very frustrated. Helena was aware of this but still remains silent until finally she saw Vera crying over her failure near the astronomy tower.

She took pity of her and finally made her first appearance. “I know what you’re looking for,” she told Vera and asked her to follow, then leading her to the place she was looking for. After that Helena disappeared again. But Vera wanted to thank her, so the girl spent the next days to try to lure Helena’s attention, in an empty hallway. She knew that the grey lady is a very shy ghost.

Eventually she succeeded a month later. Though shy but Helena braced herself to talk to her again properly, she appreciated Vera’s efforts and persistent. Eventually, they spent a lot of time after that, considering that Vera doesn’t have any friends at that time, and Helena was lonely.

They shared a lot of stories, Vera told her about the outside world and Helena told her about what she wanted to know in the past. She regularly helped Vera to sneak in / out on the castle, though she wouldn’t do it if she’s with someone. Hikari is an exception because when she saw Hikari, it reminds herself to the crying Vera on her second year.

In short, she’s a very good friend of the blonde and good… ghost for a look-out.
